Poetry: Song of Hope

Since long Ago
I never knew any Attention
Since Long Ago
I’ve always been put down

Thrown into the Darkest Pit
Where Light did not Reach
I headed Deeper and Deeper with Hands Outstretched
Untill I Lost Myself in this Darkness

Unknown to Me
Deep Inside, I searched for a Light
While I Embraced the Darkness

I became Lost
Knowing Nobody was Searching (for Me)

Knowing Despair
I learned to Flee from myself Unwillingly
As I fled, I only found myself again
A Promise to Myself I Made
I Shall Never Forget
Who I was, Who I am, and Who I Shall be
Never Shall I Forget

(The Promise…)

I want to Remain the way that I am…
I will not ever lose sight of my Dreams…
I can not ever Give in to Despair…
I will hold on to the Hope that I have…
This is the way that I shall walk all of my Days…

Never Shall I forget these Words…

Into the Light I was Pulled
Because my eyes were acustomed to the Dark, I did not Accept
To the Darkness I Returned
Only Now a Light is Always within Sight

Still Unknown
Deep Inside, I Searched for my Light
While I embraced the Dark

I was Lost
Only Because I chose to be

Give Way to Despair
Give way to Hope

It’s OK to have Hope
It’s OK to Speak Up
It’s OK to be Happy
Steal Away for yourself what you Never Had
But before you can, you must find it

So My Promise Echoes On…

I want to Remain the way that I am…
I will not ever lose sight of my Dreams…
I can not ever Give in to Despair…
I will hold on to the Hope that I have
This is the way that I shall walk all of my Days

Words I must not Forget

Still Unknown
Deep Inside, I Searched for a Light
But already, Inside, A Light is There

Never do I want to Forget…
So I tell Myself

“I Don’t Want to Forget Myself
I Want to Remain as I am”

I want to Remain the way that I am
I will not ever lose sight of my Dreams
I can not ever Give in to Despair
I will hold on to the Hope that I have
This is the way that I shall walk all of my Days

So to the Uncertain Tomorrow
I shall Always Head to
And I shall Defy the “Synchronized Trance”
Because that is who I am

The Promise to Myself
In this Song of Hope
