Poetry: Eternal Flame
Eternal Flame
Standing Tall
Stubborn and Strong
Young and Old
Never grows Weak
Eternal Flame
No one feeds you
Yet you live
What is it, that you consume?
Eternal Flame
Provider of Warmth
Stand upon the Highest Tower
Where even th scent of Roses do not reach
Eternal Flame
All can see you
But none can ever reach you
Why is this?
Does your Burning Anger cause Fear?
Or is your liveliness only to be Admired?
Is it perhaps the Passionate Flicker?
Eternal Flame
Full of life
Never Ceases to Burn
May the Winters come
May it rain upon you
And you shall never die
What strength
The will to live is
Eternal Flame
Never Giving Up
Is this your resolve?
Burn Constantly
Forever
Let not that will run thin
Eternal Flame
Unable to help
For injury is all you may cause
Stay your distance
In that tower up above
Your Flickers
Seem to be as a Heartbeat
Which refuses to stop
There is no Going Back
Eternal Flame
The Strongest Resolve you have
Show to me your Power
Eternal Flame
You who can consume all
In Violent Destruction
Stand Tall as a Symbol of Life
Eternal Flame
Strong is your Resolve

An Eternal Flame… Does it… Will it… Can it… Consume us all?
Like the imagery. Enjoyed reading.
